Part of being a well rounded artist is using a sketchbook! I keep one on me everywhere I go.
There is a lot of value in keeping a sketchbook. It means I am always exploring and developing new ideas, as well as keeping up with art fundamentals that enforce all of my designs.

Working well with traditional mediums enforces fundamentals of clear value and color in one's work. I feel as my strength in colors comes from being able to mix with traditional oil paints.

Self Portrait: Oil Painting 16x20 inches.
As a final for my painting courses at Ringling College, my assignment was to create a self portrait that had influences of my interests or work. I decided to tap into the graphic elements of my work such as the flat perspective of the object surrounding me. I have always been heavily inspired by Alphonse Mucha, so I attempted to emulate his oil painting style through this portrait.
Love, Mom & Dad
A 36 page binded book using my own illustrations and sketches paired with separate interviews from my parents.
My goal with this book was to tap into what made my parents line up as people to fall in love!
